I host four book clubs in two languages and I read a lot. Over the last four years I have discussed more than sixty books.
I track what I read on Goodreads but I rarely rate book there.
I read every genre but prefer memoir, historical fiction, classics and books from all over the world. I read mostly in English, occasionally in German or Spanish and sometimes in Italian.
Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng
A dystopic eerily not very dystopic view on our world with a poet and librarians as the heroes.
Our Missing Hearts is a wonderful read by the fabulous Celese Ng @pronounced_ing
Do not read the summaries, dive right in.
I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
Almost didn’t read this memoir because of the title, so glad I did.
Copenhagen Trilogy by Tove Ditlevsen
These three books are utterly everything. Discussed them with two of my Book Clubs and will keep going back to them.
