The theme of water has accompanied me all year and has also found a home in my first two poetry collections, Cold Water Poems and Warm Water Poems. You can listen to me read United in Liquid Love here.
The foreign element of water has been most welcoming to me. I will donate all royalties for Cold Water Poems and Warm Water Poems to the International Rescue Committee.
I completed my #swim24bodiesofwater24 on September 11 and to make a commitment to cold water swimming I added 24 cold water swims #swim24coldwaters24 until the end of 2024.
